Back Pain is a common ailment that many people are suffering ranging from young to elderly; it is often resulted from occupational hazard, sedentary lifestyle, bad posture, stress or over strain from exercises. A healthy back is to have a flexible spine with strong muscles to support the entire trunk of the body. Breathing techniques or pranayama will be practiced at the beginning of the class to prepare the body for yoga postures. Students will be guided during the practice on the poses that will relief and ease the pain that they currently are experiencing, it also allows the student to learn and understand the area of focus on their own body to prevent future occurrence. Each yoga pose will be held slightly longer with the synchronization of the breath to allow the student to calm their nervous system, softening their body and deepens their awareness on the affected area for a better and effective healing.
