Hazel used to have bad posture, constant backache and anxiety issues. After discovering yoga, she has learnt how listen to her body and take care of it. With regular practice, her health condition has improved and she is now more mindful on how to treat her body with healthier diet, sufficient rest and exercise regime.

With the desire to deepen her knowledge, she pursued her passion by completing Teacher’s Training Course at Tirisula Yoga and varied workshops. She strongly believes that yoga is for everyone and even more so for people who are ill and injured. She is certified in Yoga Therapy with her studies at Union Yoga Ayurveda Singapore where she learnt about the healing effect of Ayurveda treatment and yoga therapy. She works with patients of varied health conditions and has witness the vast improvement from the sessions conducted.

She has completed Yin Yoga (Spine Anatomy and Myofascial Release) by her mentor Jo Phee. It has been an eye opener to her and has influenced her way of teaching to be more functional instead of aesthetics.

Passionate to know about other therapy skills, she completed a Diploma in Holistic massage and sports massage so that she can provide immediate relieve pain for her students who experience stiff and tired muscles.

She is a certified 500 hrs Certified Yoga Therapy Teacher and also a 500 hrs Experience Registered Yoga Teacher. She loves to use essential oils in her yoga practices. She is recently being certified by her teacher Tracy Griffith and Dawn to teach Aroma Yoga to the Community.

Her classes are fun and therapeutic. Expect a smile towards the end of the class during savasana.
